The Final Pitch, Season 3

Once again, Virtualahan made it big! It is the only business startup from Mindanao who made it to the next round of CNN’s Season 3 of The Final Pitch.

The Final Pitch is the country’s first business reality show where the entrepreneurs get to pitch to top-notch investors who are looking for the next big business idea.

Ryan, our founder, and CEO, pitched for investment to help scale Virtualahan’s impact. And we are glad to know that we are indeed moving forward.

The premiere aired last March 17. The full series of Season 3 will air for the next 3 months.

My 2019 Passion Planner

Early this month, the Passion Planners were distributed to Virtualahan coaches, students and community members. A number of copies were sent through LBC all across the archipelago. Several students up north, down south and all over the country were blessed to receive their copies.

These Passion Planners were generously given by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Thank you so much for including us to be the recipients of these lovely planners. These will definitely make our 2019 more memorable.

Our gratitude is also extended to Coach Rose Villamor for the patience and effort in sending the copies to the chosen recipients.

Team 25 Graduation

Last March 3, another batch has graduated from the training program. Team 25 is composed of 15 brilliant, talented and skilled trainees. Each has a story of inspiration to share. And we will all look forward to their real-life narratives soon in our Virtualahan impact stories.

From all of us, your Virtualahan family, CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to our community and enjoy the challenging, yet promising, life of virtual employment.

WELCOME Team 26!

There is always good in goodbye. Though we bid farewell to our awesome Team 25, we welcomed last March 10 another set of wonderful people.

Team 26, welcome and God bless on your journey with us. Make the most of everything and make sure to enjoy the company of your newfound friends.

Virtualahan for 2019 Angels Walk

The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) held its annual Angels Walk for Autism 2019 at the MOA Arena, Pasay City last March 2.

And being one of its partners, Virtualahan took part in the annual event. Our CEO, Ryan Gersava, himself represented our community in the event.

This is the 30th year for ASP to hold such event here in the country, and looking forward for more years as it helps create “autism-ok Philippines”.

VirtualahanTV with Coach Billie

Our bi-monthly live Facebook TV program has again inspired many of our viewers. In every session, various conditions and issues that revolve around them are extensively discussed.

Grace De Loyola was the guest who shared awareness on mascular dystrophy, also known as DMD, last March 18. Despite the challenges that her condition gives her, she lives in positivity because she knows that even if her muscles shrink, her hope lingers.

Grace is currently one of the staff of Virtualahan’s outsourcing program. Her full story could be accessed at the Impact Stories of the Virtualahan website.

And last March 25, Ruben Capuli was featured for the Virtualahan TV. He shared more about the pros and cons, issues and his personal struggles with poliomyelitis. He may have physically battled with his condition, but he has never been defeated.

Happy Birthday!

On the Inside Peek:

A Thriving Night with Glen Gallardo, and How Mindset Sets the Bar for Premium Rates with Aileen Lambon

The launch of the Virtualahan’s Employment Support program is nothing but amazing! For the past few months, our speakers have given us insights on the real-life work scenes to help upgrade the learned skills.

Most of our speakers are graduates of our training and are successfully employed in various companies. The other speakers are partners who have big hearts and willingly and excitedly shared their expertise to all of us. Last March 12 was the first session of The Inside Peek for this month, and our resource speaker is no other than Glen Gallardo.

Glen is a self-taught, top-rated Upwork freelancer who specializes in WordPress Thrive Themes. He is a Thrive Architect Expert. He gladly shared his skills to help advance our community members’ digital skills.

On March 29, our resource speaker is our very own Aileen Lambon. She shared about ‘How mindset sets the bar for premium rates’ to our dear community. She also shared her firsthand experience with her virtual assistant experience.

From all of us at Virtualahan, Thank you Glen Gallardo and Aileen Lambon.

Virtualahan Cebu Meets Community Leaders

It used to be a dream, then a plan and now a reality. Two of our Virtualahan management team Coach Maita Eg-ogan and Coach Ryan Gersava, got to meet our Cebu City community.

This finally transpired after months of planning that our Visayas community could finally gather and forge reunions like those that take place in Manila and Davao. This time, Cebu has slowly and surely made sure that our community finally create meet ups and gatherings.

March 22 is monumental for our Cebu community since apart from the short gathering, our leaders met with our partners from Globe Telecom to prepare for the launch of Project New Life.

The project will use Virtualahan’s impact formula to support former drug dependents in the reintegration process through digital skills training, employment, entrepreneurship support, well-being sessions and community building.

Our Virtualahan family congratulates our newly employed students, Janice and Reynaldo. Welcome to the daily online grinding.

It is stressful, yet fulfilling career. Enjoy the most of it! Congratulations again coming from us!
